COVID-19 Update

To Our Valued MGroup™ Customers and Worldwide Resources

We appreciate your continued support and hope that we will not only maintain our current levels of business but grow during this difficult period we find ourselves in.

MGroup™ is operating in the “new normal” of how business is going to be done for the foreseeable future. We are entering a challenging time as the world deals with the Covid-19 situation and are confident that we have a plan to continue to meet our customers’ needs and are prepared for this challenge.


First, MGroup™ and our manufacturing resources are open for business and we are processing and shipping orders.

We have asked our sales and administrative team to engage in a different way. While face-to-face meetings are strongly discouraged for the next few weeks, we are engaging in video conferencing using Microsoft Teams and Go to Meeting.

We are not cancelling meetings – but we are conducting meetings in a different way.

We have issued a mandatory request that most MGroup™ associates work from home, with only a minimal crew in the office to maintain what we feel is a very good policy of social distancing to protect our team. We are not closed. Working from home allows our team to take care of children home from school and protects our team from contact with others but, we are working 100% – using the tools we have in place, Voice Over I/P phone system, lap tops for all colleagues and a focus on service. Out of an abundance of caution and to protect our team to be able to continue to meet our client’s service needs, we totally and enthusiastically endorse and enforce this work from home tactic.

In most of these conferencing tools, we usually do not use the “video” function but during the next 6-8 weeks, we are strongly encouraging our clients to use the video function when you are communicating using these tools. The face-to-face communication is going to be a very important social factor in maintaining a “connection” with each other during this period of limited contact.

We are also taking every precaution worldwide to ensure our supply chain remains up and running through this unprecedented situation.

Lastly, there might be a silver lining in this diminished travel environment we are undergoing. Hotels are well below occupancy, which means it is an ideal time to begin the renovation process. Since the hotel is operating at low occupancy now, the impact on lost revenue is less.

In the early days of the politically motivated anti-dumping regulations, things looked grim. But we adapted and with some good luck and hard work MGroup™ came out of the anti-dumping stronger and gained market share because we developed alternative sources of supply that the market demanded. While Covid-19 might look as grim or even more formidable, by communicating effectively to our customers and resources and providing a safe operating environment for our MGroup™ team, we expect to effectively continue to handle our customer’s needs and expectations.

While the situation is anything but normal, we will continue to carry out our business plan to the best of our ability to meet your needs. This, too, will pass, but in the meantime, we need to look for the very best ways and stretch our abilities to succeed in a difficult – but not impossible – environment.
